Hi, I'm Lizzie.

In my world, cranberry is to winter as pumpkin spice is to autumn. It’s tart, bright, fresh and brings to mind crisp snowfall and family gatherings.

On that same note, gin + tonics are probably my favorite go-to drink. And a few years ago, we discovered this Cranberry Gin Liqueur from Koval Distillery (not sponsored but that would be a dream collab). It’s sooooo delicious and it makes such a fun and easy twist on a classic G+T.

If I’d had more foresight I would have bought cranberries to add as well, but as with most garnishes, they’re purely for aesthetics, let’s be real.

  • 2oz cranberry liqueur (I’m using the one from Koval Distillery)
  • 1oz gin
  • Tonic
  • Sage leaves for garnish
  • Cranberries for garnish (optional)

  • In a cocktail glass, combine ice, cranberry liqueur and gin.
  • Fill the rest of the glass with tonic (you can substitute seltzer or soda water if you prefer a less sweet drink).
  • Garnish with sage leaves. I singed the ends with a match for the drama, but it didn’t add a whole lot, so do what feels right to you. Either way it’s delicious!
